ARANZ Geo, proveedor líder del mercado en software de modelamiento geológico LEAPFROG 3D, está buscando un candidato para el cargo Technical Sales Advisor - Energy, con base en Londres, U.K., como miembro del equipo global de energía y reportará directamente al Director de Desarrollo de Negocios-Energía Geotérmica.

ARANZ GEO, una empresa internacional con un rápido crecimiento, especializada en  software para la interpretación y visualización de información de geociencia. Como el proveedor global del software líder, Leapfrog, la empresa está continuamente empujando el desarrollo y la innovación en sus mercados objetivos.

Leapfrog es una herramienta de modelamiento 3D, diseñada para la industria de la energía geotérmica. El conocimiento geológico es fácilmente transferido a un modelo de reservorio, cuando los parámetros de entrada son consistentes con el modelo de geociencias y la simulación de reservorio se puede visualizar y transferir en un modelo en 3D.

ARANZ GEO, opera transversalmente en múltiples sectores, incluidos el de energía, obras civiles y medio ambiente, minería y minerales. Este cargo, pasa a ocupar un rol integral en el equipo de Energía.

La empresa está buscando un candidato para el cargo de Consultor Técnico de Ventas, para el departamento de Energía, con base en Londres, Inglaterra en UK.

As part of a strategy to deliver on the growth targets for the Energy Sector the team is growing to provide more bandwidth in this industry. The Technical Sales Advisor – Energy will be a member of the global energy team reporting to the Business Development Manager – Geothermal Energy.


The Role and Opportunity

The focus of the role will be to grow Geothermal Energy at ARANZ Geo by increasing user numbers, capabilities and driving awareness of our software. Key functions of the role are to support existing and new customers and create networks within the industry.

The role will complement but not duplicate the work of the Global Business Development Manager who will continue to continue to support and contribute to global markets.

While the role has a business development focus, technical understanding or ability is also a key competency.

The key areas of responsibility include:

  • Supporting customers within the region through training and general assistance with our software
  • Providing technical and business development leadership in the Energy business at ARANZ Geo
  • Providing support to the Global Business Development Manager with Technical, Sales and Business Development
  • Owning sales and structure within your region
  • Reporting business activities and performance within your region


To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in geoscience, engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Professional experience in the geothermal or oil and gas industries an advantage
  • Experience in commercial software projects or testing an advantage
  • Confident oral and written communication skills in English
  • A second language would be adventageous
  • Proven team player and conflict management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and build sustainable working relationships
  • Ability to work well independently, at times remotely, and self-manage workload effectively
  • Business development experience an advantage
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of how cultural differences influence business relations
  • Excellent skills in time management, communication (oral and written) and setting priorities
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get “hands on”
  • Innovative, open and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced and constantly changing environment
